Hotel Quite Acceptable, Denver.

The sun is shining. The sky is blue.

20.29 A gentle day. Reflecting on The Year of Guitar Craft activities in preparation for 2006, a quiet lunch, and perusing the astonishing number of DVDs now available. Many of the terrible, cheap movies made in the 40s & 50s & 60s are now available very cheaply on DVD. I have a lot of fun looking at the titles & reading the blurbs, probably much more fun than were I to actually see the fillims.

Practising.

Personally, after reading BS like Fripp "sensing" this stuff for years now, I think it really is time he hung it up. When it gets to the point where your performance is disrupted by something as trivial as a microphone in the audience, you've lost the desire.

It's not the microphone that's the issue.

What does it hurt?

Well, for a starter, it hurts me.

If this is indeed the end for Fripp, I'm not all that upset, frankly. I've been anticipating this for a few years now and I'm surprised it's taken this long, in fact. I'll offer a "Thanks for all the great music, and whatever you offer in the future," but I'm just not all that heartbroken if it means Fripp can stop whining about "violations."

This is astonishingly arrogant.

Now, to practising --
